The Sacrifice of Jesus

Jesus, in His love, sacrifices His life for us.  He takes upon his own life all the weight of the evil, darkness, and death that was heading straight for us.  Jesus steps in, placed Himself in the way, and sacrificed His life so that we might live.  This is what makes Good Friday so very Good.
