While talking to a crowd, someone asks Jesus to respond to some current events in which people had died in rather tragic ways. Like many of us, the crowd was assuming (even hoping) that it was due to their wickedness that they had died, but Jesus instead uses the moment to explain how suffering and tragedy are not always caused by sin, but suffering can result in us developing the character of the Kingdom of God.
