The first of Jesus' "last words" from the cross (Luke 23:34) demonstrates the unfailing, forgiving love of God toward those who have unceasingly rejected Him. It teaches us about the healing power of forgiveness in our own relationships, whether it is a dramatic act of grace toward great offenses, or many "little forgivenesses" every day.
