Preparing the Way

After God spoke through the prophet Malachi, there was 400 years where God was silent. 400 years! But God is about to be silent no more. In Luke chapter 3, Jesus is 30 years old and about to begin his ministry on earth. God is silent no more. And just as a herald went out in ancient time to declare that the king was coming, the prophet John (the Baptist) tells everyone to prepare for the arrival of a king that the world has never seen before.
