It is impossible to ignore the work of the Holy Spirit in the pages of the Bible. From “the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters” in the first scene of Genesis to “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’” in the final scene of Revelation. From beginning to end, the work of the Holy Spirit is woven throughout God’s story with His people.
Today we long to see the Holy Spirit refresh us, renew us, fill us, revive us, and empower and equip us to love God and others. We will explore who He is, how to be filled with His Presence, the fruit that comes from His work in us, and we will spend weeks exploring the variety of gifts he gives His children. But in the end, it’s all about Him, what He wants to do in us, and the hope that He will be faithful to lead us to Jesus- which of course is what He loves to do.
