As the Preschool Director, I get to hang out with the 2-4 year olds every Sunday! I love this age group and I love watching them soak up information and learn so much. What a privilege it is to help them learn who Jesus is and how much He loves them! I also enjoy working with our amazing team of volunteers and helping them grow in their teaching and leadership skills.
I came to NLCC through the middle school program in 1999 (back when it was called PreHigh!) and have been attending here ever since. I have had several staff roles at the church, mostly in the Children's and Youth Ministries. There seems to be some kind of magnet always pulling me back to staff and I love that I am on the team again!
I live in Langley with my husband, Martin, and our two daughters, Emma and Sena. Life is full with two young and energetic kids, but it is never boring! Martin and I met in Benin, West Africa where we did ministry together and then were married there in 2014. We moved to Langley together in late 2015, but we still feel like we have two homes.
A few of my favourite things include time with family, games nights, reading, any kind of pasta, white chocolate, and Disney. My happy place is curling up in a soft blanket by the fireplace with a hot drink.
