I'm the Creative Arts Assistant. I get to help pull together a lot of the elements that go towards creating our Sunday services. I also have the privilege of working with the most amazing team of volunteer musicians and technicians. (Shout out to all the Worship and Tech Team-ers!) In addition to all that, I get to do fun and creative things with music and words!
My husband, Denver, and I have been attending NLCC for the last 9 years. Before that, I was a student (BMus), a worship director, a high school teacher, and there was even that time I toured with a band around BC!
The love of my life is Mr. Denver Low, which resulted in 3 beautiful humans, my boys, Jack Giovani (8), Hudson Benicio (5) and Desmond Remington (2). We live with our 18 chickens in rural Langley. Our front porch is constantly covered in bikes, dogs, strollers, sticks, rocks, snakes, frogs, bug habitats, dirt (lots of dirt), fishing poles, bug/frog nets, boots, lost socks and the occasional wandering chicken.
I love open spaces, fresh air, quiet nights, great quotes, big hugs from my boys, the smell of the forest, thoughtfulness, contemplating the fragility of life and beautiful things that make me cry. I love cello music and hip-hop, poetry and personality tests and I love fast-paced, caffeine driven adrenaline surges and deep breaths that stop the world and fill a moment with silence.
