In my role as a Family Ministries Director, I get to run Kids Church on Sunday mornings at the Aldergrove Campus! From ages 11 and below, I work with a dedicated team of volunteers to make sure kids and parents have a great experience on Sundays, leaving our building having grown in their knowledge of Christ, and maybe also with a craft to put up on the fridge. It's incredibly rewarding work. Seeing the smiles on the kids' faces week after week fills my heart with joy!
I've been attending NLCC since 2015 when I began high school. I've volunteered in many capacities throughout the years, making the jump to the staff team in 2024. Before working at the church, I was in High-Rise Construction!
Some of my favourite things to do in my free time include training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Weight Training, and solving Rubik's Cubes!
