Kuwasha provides leadership and funding for the Kibaale Community Centre (KCC) in the Rakai district of Uganda. At the KCC we operate 5 schools with over 1500 of the most vulnerable students in our community, a community health facility caring for over 17,000 patients annually, a coffee farm, and various community development projects for the village of Kibaale and surrounding area.

Our goal is to provide an education to children who would not otherwise get one. Our commitment to children when they are accepted to our school is to provide them with the best education and care possible, giving them the opportunity to change their life and future. Many of our students carry on and complete University level programs, further equipping them to have a significant impact on their community and country. We believe that through quality Christian education the cycle of poverty in Kibaale can be broken. Our desire is to see the students that pass through our schools today become the strong, ethical leaders of Uganda tomorrow.

Kuwasha and the Kibaale Community Centre exist to impact the nation of Uganda through evangelism and discipleship, education, health-care and community development focused on service, leadership and excellence, for the good of the children and families of the Rakai district and the glory of God

Get Involved with Kuwasha:

The absolute best way to get involved in what Kuwasha is doing in Uganda is through our student sponsorship program. Sponsorship provides each student with a quality Christian education, nutritious meal at school, health care for the student's whole family and access to development programs such as micro-loans and clean water initiatives that benefit the entire community. The monthly cost of our sponsorship program is $80/student, which is generally shared between two sponsors ($40/month Standard Sponsorship) though some of our sponsors have chosen to support a student at the Full Sponsorship amount ($80/month). Both options are available to everyone considering sponsorship and 100% of all sponsorship dollars are spent in Uganda.
