Be Patient; Persevere

James turns his attention in this passage from the oppressors to those that are being oppressed. His encouragement to them is to persevere in the midst of suffering because God is working in the waiting. In this passage, James encourages his readers to persevere because God has a response to the injustice they are facing. Patience is the plan. Perseverance is our part.
