The Beauty of Joy

Have you ever stopped to think - what is joy, really? Is it owning a dog (NEVER a cat), eating ice cream on a hot day, or enjoying a Christmas movie with the family? Those things bring us happiness or pleasure, but they are not joy.CS Lewis once said, "I doubt whether anyone who has tasted joy would ever, if both were in his power, exchange it for all the pleasures in the world.”
Scripture points us to joy in knowing that because of Jesus, the world has been made right and is being made right.
