Jesus is the New Freedom Story

Matthew tells the birth story of Jesus in a way to set it up as the new exodus and a new, better freedom story.  Freedom in Christ means we have access to supernatural freedom, hope in a future freedom, freedom to approach God, and freedom to struggle.
