Near

We are designed for worship--to Abide. Since Adam and Eve's choice to eat the forbidden fruit we have been hiding from God. We have been worshipping everything but God. God has taken the initiative to find us and draw near. Through Jesus' death on the cross we have been invited to come into the presence of God and worship. We are adopted into God's family, becoming his dwelling place--his holy temple. Drawing near is another way to say, "come and worship."
