A Light of Peace

God desires peace for the human soul. That is why peace was prophesied in Isaiah and announced in John. We also desire peace - it is the equilibrium for us, and we know when it is off. That is why conflict causes anxiety in us.
But what does real peace mean? Is it a good book in front of the fireplace? Is it the absence of conflict? God tells us it is much more, and though there is a price to pay for it, it is a price worth paying every single time.
