1. New Lyrics & Prayer Templates

We have created new templates in ProPresenter, listed under the Templates list as "NLCC Live", which has both a Lyrics and Prayer option.

The new templates are both laid out on a 1-to-1 ratio, so they will show up over the stream feed at the same size we are outputting them, rather than shrinking the lyrics output as we had previously done. The lyric key on the video switcher has been adjusted to be full-screen.

The Lyrics Template is placed in the lower-thirds of the screen with a semi-transparent black bar behind the textbox which allows for two lines of text per slide, set to auto-all-caps.

Ther Prayer template is similar, created in the lower thirds as we want it to show up over the live-stream, but with slightly smaller text and room for up to four lines of text.

2. File Organization

Rather than creating new presentation files for recurring service elements every week (announcement loop, pre-service bumper, etc.) let's use one presentation file for each element, and change the content as needed. For example, I have named all our recurring service files "2021 LIVE Announcement Loop" "2021 LIVE Pre-Service Bumper" etc. and each week you can reuse that same presentation file in your service playlist for that element, and update the content as needed.

There is no need to keep old videos, presentations, or other files in ProPresenter (with the exception of the song lyric files), as we have the originals stored elsewhere if they ever need to be used again.

3. Synced 'Hot Folders'

We have a new procedure for the Announcement Loop, Current Series, & Every Week folders. They are now synced automatically to the desktop via OneDrive and can be accessed right in ProPresenter via the Video/Image Bin! There are 'hot folders' created there for each of these, and the files that show up there are already located on the local hard drive, so do not need to be copied to the desktop before they are added to anything in ProPresenter (if that doesn't make sense, be sure to check out the video to see what I'm talking about!)

For the Announcement Loop specifically, the files will be new and updated each week in the Hot Folder, so the best way to add them will be to delete all images from the '2021 LIVE Announcement Loop' file, and then drag-and-drop the new images from the hot folder into the presentation.

All other videos and files specific to each Sunday will continue to be added to the Public Drive folders the same way we have been doing, so those will need to be copied to the desktop before being added to ProP like usual.

4. Sermon Slides

I trained Matthew on ProPresenter this week, so he will be making his sermon slides as a ProPresenter Presentation!!!! This is huge! He'll be exporting a ProPesenter Bundle file to the network drive each week, and it will be fully editable and openable in ProPrestner. I will make sure for each new series template I make, that the proper fonts, etc. are all pre-loaded to the media computer so there shouldn't be any font/formatting issues.
