Yorkson Service Media PROCESS

1.1 Access Media for Sunday Services

  • All media for each service will be located in the "Service Media (Google Drive) folder on the desktop
  • This folder is synced with a Google Drive folder and may need to download files first thing
  • Folders will have a green checkmark when synced, and blue arrow circles when downloading

Sermon Slides

  • Sermon slides and other needed media will be in dated folders (01-12, 01-19, etc)
  • Add slides into ProPresenter files directly from the Service Media Folder

Announcement Loop and Hosting Slides

  • These two folders will be kept up-to-date by myself/Jeff and should always have the most current info/events/slides in them (based on my promo calendar/Planning Centre Services, etc.)
  • Update "Announcement Loop" presentation in ProPresenter by removing all slides from the ProPresnter file, and then adding ALL slides from the "Anouncement LOOP" folder from the drive
  • Update "Hosting SLIDES" presentation in ProPresenter by removing all slides from the ProPresnter file, and then adding ALL slides from the "Hosting SLIDES" folder from the drive

Creating Services in ProPresenter

1.2 ProPresenter Services

  • Video/Image bin only for regularly used media, not for one-time uses
  • Foreground is for featured videos, Background will auto-loop and stay behind text
  • Add new service with '+' in bottom left, select "New PCO Playlist"
  • Select service from folder  "Yorkson > Sunday Services > select first in the list"
  • Right-Click on newly added playlist, and "Convert to non-PCO" then rename to the current date, "April 28"

1.3 Song Slides

  • Search 'Library' for songs that do not link automatically
  • If not in the library, search 'Song Select' and 'Import'
  • Import settings "Paragraph Break", Size "1920x1080", Category "Lyrics", Template "Yorkson Lyrics 2019 > Template 2", - IMPORT
  • Link song to playlist item by dragging and dropping
  • Slides should mostly have only 4 lines (max of 6)
  • To split long slide into 2 slides, select spot where you want to split and press 'alt/option+enter'

Clear as mud?
